During the summer, this plant produces trumpet-shaped flowers that form clusters of small white flowers with colorful stamens, lasting about a month and emitting a fragrance reminiscent of cinnamon and other spices. Native to the drier regions of southwest Africa, this plant typically grows in the shade of other plants or rocks to avoid direct sunlight.
