Included in your purchase is a gorgeous Red Prayer Maranta plant in a 4" pot. Please keep in mind that each plant may vary slightly from the pictures shown, as they are hand-selected based on season, size, health, and readiness.

When it comes to caring for your new plant, make sure to water frequently during the growing season and never allow the potting soil to dry out. These plants are very sensitive to drought, so be sure to keep an eye on their water needs. In terms of fertilizing, we recommend fertilizing every 2 weeks from early spring to fall. Dilute a balanced, water-soluble houseplant fertilizer to half strength to avoid burning the roots.

For optimal growth, your plant prefers acidic soil. We suggest using a peat-based potting mix with a pH of 5.5 to 6.0. You can also mix together 2 parts sphagnum peat moss, 1 part loamy soil, and 1 part perlite or coarse sand for a healthy growing environment.
